Partnership Linkage Tool for the Addressing Neglected Areas of Sexual and Reproductive Health and Rights in Sub-Saharan Africa (ANeSA) Initiative
To achieve the goals and objectives of the ANeSA, a seven-year $29.9M initiative funded by the International Development Research Centre (IDRC), the Canadian Institutes of Health Research (CIHR) and Global Affairs Canada (GAC), strong connections and collaborations must be made across research fields, disciplines, and sectors, as well as between existing and emerging research teams. One of the ways IDRC, CIHR and GAC are supporting the development of such connections is through this linkage tool.
The Initiative's overall aim is to support greater realization of neglected sexual and reproductive health and rights by under-served populations, including women and girls in Sub-Saharan Africa.
This partnership linkage tool is intended to help expand research networks in Neglected Areas of Sexual and Reproductive Health and Rights and to encourage meaningful partnerships throughout the proposal development and beyond by facilitating connections between researchers, trainees, community and health organizations, policy-makers, knowledge users, people with lived/living experience, and other individuals and organizations in Canada and Sub-Saharan Africa.
