IHDCYH Scientific Director: Dr. Christine Chambers

Dr. Christine Chambers is an internationally recognized clinical psychologist, scientist, and leader in child health research. She is a Professor at Dalhousie University, Tier 1 Canada Research Chair in Children’s Pain, and member of the Scientific Staff at IWK Health. Her research has advanced understanding and management of children’s pain and the mobilization of evidence into practice. She is Scientific Director of CIHR’s Institute of Human Development, Child and Youth Health and founding Scientific Director of Solutions for Kids in Pain. Christine is a Fellow of the Royal Society of Canada and Canadian Academy of Health Sciences.
