CIHR-IGH 2026 Summer Institute

The CIHR Institute of Gender and Health (IGH) Summer Institute brings together trainees (graduate students and postdoctoral fellows) with researchers and community partners to build research capacity and excellence in sex and gender+ health research. The theme for the 2026 Summer Institute is Benchside Breakthroughs to Community Champions Innovation & Implementation of Sex and Gender+ Science.

Hosted by Memorial University of Newfoundland in St. John’s, Newfoundland, the CIHR IGH 2026 Summer Institute will bring together emerging researchers, experts, Indigenous leadership and community partners to build capacity in Sex and Gender+ Science.
