Knowledge Mobilization: Funding
CIHR's KM Strategy and Action Plan includes a commitment to advance health research impact through new and enhanced funding opportunities specifically focused on KM practice.
As early action on this commitment, CIHR is pleased to confirm an initial suite of recurring KM funding programs:
- The Partnering for Impact: Catalyst Grant program to foster partnerships between researchers, knowledge users and knowledge holders and to support the time and enablers required for meaningful co-production
- The Partnering for Impact: Partnerships for Health, Systems and Community Improvements program to mobilize evidence-informed solutions that respond to pressing healthcare, health system and health issues
CIHR will also be launching a new opportunity to fund a national knowledge synthesis platform, in response to the strategy's commitment to enhance investments in high-quality, timely and responsive evidence-support infrastructure.
Notices of funding opportunities will be posted here once they are announced – coming soon!
